Picked up a hanging basket from Gardenworks that was crammed full of black petunias, dusty miller and more. Used it to fill our patio flower boxes and I’m completely in love with them now. #GardenSky

I found this in my fabric recycle pile, and when I looked it over it was unfinished but not terrible. I’ve fixed the neckline a bit and made it slightly off the shoulder. Hemmed it, and I’m ready to wear it around. Trying to appreciate my first makes more. #sewing

Having one of those “nothing is working” and “I can’t make decisions for myself!” days, but the sun popped out and shone on the strawberries, so that’s not too bad.

Papa liked a treat. Most of all, he loved root beer floats.

He was diagnosed with terminal lung and liver cancer in January of 2015. He made it to the end of July of that year, two weeks before his 65th birthday.

I always think of him most when summer approaches.

I decided our home needed its own Maypole this year, though there is barely room for it. I found a wizard’s staff my father made years ago, and we had spring garlands around. They’ll do the trick! There’ll be some dancing after school. #WitchSky #WitchAlt
