We first started watching #Vera when my eldest son was 10. Now he's 24! We watched every episode.

Taking advantage of the murky weather to do a deep clean of our kitchen. Thrown away stuff past it's use by date ... longest 8 years! 😂 Discovered enough 'tupperware' to open a shop, some with lids. Reorganised everything, including the dreaded cupboard under the sink. Descaled the kettle. Therapy!

Just watching 'Love Actually.' I think Starmer should resurrect 'THAT speech' in 2025! 😉

I work for a youth homeless charity in East Lancashire. This week the Community Champion at our local Tesco messaged me to say they had "a few bits" to donate. "A FEW BITS" she said!! 😂
2 car loads later it's all been loaded and unloaded and ready to distribute. Very grateful and now need a rest. 😘

Back in March 2020 a couple of friends and I set up a WhatsApp group called 'Are You Still Sane?' We only shared things that made us laugh. We got through the pandemic and are still clinging on to our sanity even though the world has apparently gone mad! A little laughter every day still helps! 🥰

There's something special about hearing a Brass Band at Christmas. Storm Darragh subsided in time for us to enjoy a wonderful night of music and carols with Stacksteads Brass Band which was established 152 years ago in 1872.

I'll say one thing for Storm Darragh. I'm ahead of myself with the Christmas wrapping for the first time in my 61 years on the planet!

And my Lancashire Hamper for the Yorkshire In-laws is a thing of beauty even if I do say so myself. 😉

If you've ever been a parent watch it! It's a genius portrayal of family life and laugh out loud funny.

Just relocated from the place formerly known as Twitter. Intensely dislike the new landlord, his 'associates' and too many of the recent tenants. Hoping this will be a place of greater happiness, mutual respect and lots of Blue Sky thinking.
