This is a request to all those brilliant folk who carry out oral history interviews. I am hoping to carry out some interviews next year and am wondering what is the best equipment to buy. What do you use? How much does it cost? What is the simplest way to do the best job? Thanks!

Anyone else in awe at the brilliance of the latest A House Through Time series, fronted by the masterly David Olusoga? One thing struck me watching series 5 (two cities at war) was the effort made after WW2 to save archives for posterity. Without such diligence, this prog wouldn't be possible. 1/3
