An Irish tradition that hasn’t made its way to the US is “Women’s Christmas”. Epiphany (Jan 6), is traditionally the end of Christmas. Also known as “Women’s Christmas“. Women get the day off, men do the housework, AND take down the Christmas decorations. Women have a day out and treat themselves.
