Did Les Snead get an extension after firing Jeff Fischer and hiring McVay? I know Angelo didn’t after firing Jauron and hiring Lovie. @bradbiggs.bsky.social had some perspective on this I hadn’t considered in his last mailbag. I still think contract alignment is the way to go but I am open minded.

I actually think it’s tougher call than many Bears fans do. He screwed up the coaching hire, but the roster is better than it’s played the last half of the season imo.

I think the frustration is wanting to play for exactly long enough to get a personal record and then taking himself out. May not matter in the evaluation from an NFL team’s perspective, but it is worse than just not playing imo as a fan.
