#NowSpinning Dvořák’s life-affirming Symphony No.3, with Libor Pešek in Liverpool. It’s wonderful to hear this orchestra play Czech music; they always seem to find just the right sound and Pešek really captures the heart of this work.

I’ve always had mixed feelings about Labor Day. When I was a kid it was the end of summer at the cottage with school starting the next day. As an adult, it was great to be off from work but sadly meant the end of summer and a soon close to baseball season. Hope everyone had a wonderful day!
