The appeals court has granted the sore loser Griffin’s appeal and given 15 days for voters to supply missing information or their votes will be discarded. Will definitely be appealed to the State Supreme Court and possibly to federal court but there are no guarantees. Make sure they count your vote.

Maybe not traitors. Just spineless dickwads more concerned about their own political standing than the rest of us.

“Funding” the government doesn’t matter if they refuse to sign the checks. They are literally refusing to pay for things Congress has authorized. It doesn’t matter it Congress “funds” the government if they ignore what Congress says. I say don’t make it easy for these authoritarians.

Fuck Chuck Schumer for enabling a tyrant. Yes it would have hurt Americans to endure a government shutdown. But every single government shutdown in the past has been initiated by republicans. And Americans are already hurting because of Trumps bullshit. He just helped a madman to fuck us even more.

And keep in mind that there are many ways to relate to friends. If you or your friend see political views as defining the other person then that’s what will happen. But it doesn’t have to. Some folks are too much to bear. You know what your threshold is. Now… I’ll try to take my own advice.

I just spoke about this topic with a group at church this evening. Maintain a focus on listening rather than explaining your position or convincing the other person. There was the statement that all heresy has a kernel of truth. So remember there is something true to them shaping their belief.

This is a video from an open house at Pat Harrigan’s open house in Hickory NC on 02/21/25. 200 people came to engage with Congressman Harrigan. He refused to engage with his constituents and later posted a Facebook post that the crowd was violent. There was no violence, just angry constituents.

Unfortunately I think we are the bad guys. It doesn’t mean that’s who we fundamentally are but it is how we are behaving.

The Chinese and Russian people aren’t bad guys either. They just don’t have control of their government. We have to prevent that and ensure the people control the government.
