To answer that he wouldn't be too sure himself at times even the laziest cat can still feel that curiosity and want for adventure it'll just take it's own form of reasoning

Very sleepy all the time translates into his fighting stye until he's fully awake different ball game in fighting.

Capable of using actual ice attacks in a serious fight (in this case fully awake).
