A piece of me wanted to venture back to my childhood and re-read the HP series. I won’t do it consecutively because I have other books I want to get through, but I will see if I can do it every other book and tie it up by December. We shall see. Oh 5/5 btw. Elementary but captivating.

It has always bothered me that hermoione lied and said she was trying to fight the troll on her own when she was just being a little emo and didn’t get the news to go to the dorms. This is what my mom means when she says “you lie when the truth sounds better”

Okay. 15 books down for the year. 5 left to go. None of This is True by Lisa Jewell was good. Her writing style is a little on the nose, but it’s great if you want an unexpected ending that doesn’t spark your anxiety #booksky

Now reading: Giovanni’s Room. I’m about 25% in. I loved Another Country by James Baldwin. It was dense and a bit challenging tbh, but I’m making it a mission to read more of his works. This one, though loquacious, is marvelous story telling. #booksky
