Also, since you guys talked about wanting to do more Also Froms, I will say since you guys enjoy a lot of the Hivemind's work and Alison talks this show a lot, you would probably enjoy their take on Star Trek starring Captain Sisko.

Some that haven't been mentioned yet is the Batman/Detective Comics run written by Doug Moench and often drawn by Gene Colan. And shortly after that one, there was a fun run of Detective by Mike W Barr and Alan Davis.

To not be so Batman-heavy, there's also Camelot 3000.

You were wondering about Aaron's first appearance, it was in a miniseries done for Cap's 80th anniversary called The United States of Captain America, which featured every Cap and each issue featured a new character inspired by them. Pretty good miniseries, as I recall.

I did want to mention that there is another appearance by Galaxy not mentioned, which was in the Bad Dream: A Dreamer Story OGN by Nicole Maines and Rye Hickman. Nicole's work on writing at DC and Dreamer has been really good, especially her current book, Secret Six.

The Lil' Diana back-ups were great, I will say if you liked them, you might like Nguyen's Lil' Gotham series, where he does some similar stuff. There was also a series of back-ups in Wonder Woman for a while that was about a young Diana in Themyscira that was cute.

Absolute Batman was fantastic, loved that intervention with Bruce and his friends. I do have to point out the original version of that "knock knock" panel and how DC legal are cowards.

Great episode! If you want more of thar kind of story, you should check out Batman: City of Madness, which Ward wrote and drew. It also features Two-Face in a prominent role!

Great episode! Just wanted to mention about your confusion about Daredevil doing exorcist stuff, at the end of the Zdarsky run and currently in the Salamon Ahmed run of DD, he loses some of his memory and becomes a Catholic priest! So you weren't completely off the mark!

Yeah, it was one of the Infinity Voices comics starring the Deadpool take on Negasonic Teenage Warhead. It was a fun little story, from what I remember.

So with DD: Born Again coming soon, I want to try to read through a big DD run I haven't read before, and I'm torn between Charles Soule or Ann Nocenti's. Which would you all recommend?

My Four favorite Marvel characters.

This was TOUGH. I had to disqualify X-Men & adjacent folk just to get here. It feels a little basic, but these are characters I got into early and still enjoy a lot.

Another fun fact about him is that he illustrated the first graphic novel, then called a "picture novel," along with Doom Patrol creator Arnold Drake.

Alright, what's your #comicsdna?

This is HARD to condense into four, but I think I got it -- two of my faves at Marvel/DC when I was first getting into it, and my faves in Vertigo and indies, when I found out comics could be far more than just capes.

There's also New Mutants Forever, which takes place after Claremont's final issue. It's fun, though it has Red Skull as the antagonist and a lot of Nazi stuff, so if that's too much, I get it.

In the middle of listening to this, and you mention wishing you read the Hercules story last as a proper finisher. I will say there is a one-shot by Claremont and Sienkiewiecz from 2019 that might work for that.

Main cover gives some real Last Crusade vibes and I love it.

The MCU has been "dead" more times than most comic book characters.
