Our current situation with Trump, reflects the far left and far right leaning of both parties. Where are the moderates of both parties that could work together for the betterment of our country? Maybe check out the new “Forward Party”.

Yes I know. I enjoy your conversations and articles. I just disagree with the idea that a faith based world view is the problem with society. The problem is bad people, it doesn’t matter if they believe in God or not. Bad people use faith as a scam to get what they want. It’s a human problem.

Yes I agree we approach it in different ways. I come from believing in a creator, however not from a Christian perspective. As a Muslim my perspective was much different, Jesus was a prophet and the Bible a distortion of Gods Word. Now I’m a follower of Jesus, I’d like to know more about your story.

It’s hard to understand why you would say that the Apostles are the false profits. What would their motivation be? All but 1 died violent deaths and penny less. Their only reward for preaching the “Good News of Jesus Christ” was their salvation in Christ. But that’s the riches gift of all.

As far as religion, Jesus rebuked the religious leaders for their conduct and warned us of false teachers. It’s not faith that’s bad but instead bad people who twist the truth for their own profit. I Follow Christ no religion. Our responsibility is to beware of false prophets.

You’re right all those things could be done by others instead of religion but they’re not doing it, why? It’s because we are living in a fallen world of greed and self. Jesus calls us today to follow him and to imitate his ways of sacrifice and service.

How do you define religion? Faith based groups support more people in need than any other group of society, regardless of who they are or what they believe, expecting nothing in return. Jesus is Lord and commands us to do so. True followers of Christ will not do harm.

Everyday I think I’m as close to God as I can get. Then the very next day I’m amazed at how much closer He draws me.

I agree Religion has a checkered past and present. But I attribute that to evil people both so called religious and secular. I know I’m sticking my neck out there but I believe Satan is very active in this world. That’s why I try my best to follow Christ, not religious leaders.

So it seems that what you’re saying is that any historians that were born after an event happened and writes about it, makes those writings unreliable.
