Horse chestnut tree beginning to turn its leaves into its autumnal colours. I think most probably due to the lack of rain.

Cinnabar moth caterpillars on scabious. First for our garden (at the front of the house.) I am very chuffed they're here. 😊

Sometimes you get a lovely surprise if you look at the undersides of leaves. 😊 Ladybird larva on the underside of a nasturtium leaf.

"Cast n'er a cloot, 'til May be out". The "May" or hawthorn blossom has been out for a few days now, so if you wish, you can cast your cloot. 😄
