The pattern of ppl portraying Meljay as either Mel seducing Jayce and “throwing her body at him” or Jayce using Mel as a sexual object is concerning.

I also think it’s telling that in this scene Jayce is shown to be unstable (justifiably so) but when he apologizes and gives her words of encouragement, it’s clear he’s in a more lucid state of mind.

This is really lovely, and I also hope to see them more in the future!

Perhaps you don’t mean it this way, but your post comes off as implying it’s Mel’s fault Viktor was hurt. She truly didn’t know what happened, so what truth was there to tell? /gen

Imo it’s far more likely he opened his eyes thinking about Cait, who Mel just mentioned needed him to be there for her
