Ohh I can understand that dilemma. I have a huge e-library too that I’d hate to lose. I don’t know the answer to your question unfortunately. Maybe the Kobo site does? Good luck with finding alternatives to Amazon and happy reading!

I have a Kobo (Canadian company, not Amazon) and would save it in a house fire I love it that much. I can enlarge the text for my old lady eyes (and bookmark and take notes, etc.). 😉
