Thanks for this. Having been an advocate of NGH in the past, I've been concerned for some time about Dr. Webb's leadership but felt that the board was not up for confrontation. I'm glad to see this long needed change

While I agree in principle, the pain will be real for most of us living on less than 6 figures. That is when real financial support for safety net services is so important.

We've always known that our current president knows nothing about governance and leadership and is P.T. Barnum resurrected, running an endless campaign for accolades, not solutions. Nothing he says shocks me at this point.

Honestly, this shouldn't be surprising. Much of American Christianity has made church more about family than discipleship. When I look at church investments in "family life centers" instead of using resources to help those in need, it's clear where the locus of worship lies.
