I haven’t hit a need to feel performative, but I’ve more just said Facebook is private me, and everything else is “public” me. Instagram walks in between since I’ve had it so long.
I can totally see the need for a “alt” just to post whatever you want and not “perform” eventually.

You’d think it’s the Unraid NAS on the bottom, but it’s actually the HPE DL380 gen 8 full of drives above it. It’s part of my Proxmox Ceph pool, and the rest of it runs a virtualized TrueNAS that gives more performance than my deep capacity Unraid when needed.

My other topics dilute my content. Mental health is still relevant to me and part of my life, but I think I’m not going to focus there except when relevant.
Same with politics/social matters. VERY important, but I tend to elevate/engage others better than speak my own. You know where I stand.

Anyway, I’m thinking of becoming more a TechDad, or Dad in Tech. I still love tech, from personal to enterprise level, and that’s never going away.
Plus, anyone can do game streams as a side hobby. It’s tech adjacent, and it’s been a wish to do that for a long time.
