Bring on ABS…

Easy…hampster

That’s fun…

I’ll buy that. It just seems strange that it dropped so much in one season. You’d expect that if a player was injured, and that obviously wasn’t the case with Adames.
December 8, 2024 at 5:41 PM
Eno what do you make of the enormous drop in Adames’ defense from 2023 (8 DRS, 16 OOA) to 2024 (-16 DRS, 1 OOA).

This…I’ve watched WAY more baseball the last 2 seasons because the games flow better with so much less down time. I’ll happily sacrifice some extra-inning marathons that end at 2 AM if it means I can get through a normal game in a couple hours.

That’s probably the only big rule change that some people don’t like. Personally, I love it. I have stuff to do, and spending 4 hours watching a baseball game is nearly impossible. But I get why people don’t like it.

Manfred has nailed every big rule change so far…even the ones people thought were awful. Zero chance he ruins his legacy with something like this.

I don’t believe it’s actually being considered…

I’m ending up with Carp on pretty much every bestball and gladiator team, so hopefully they don’t platoon him…

Hopefully the BBWAA gets their crap together and Jones gets the love he deserves. The fact he hasn’t been voted into the HOF yet is mind-blowing.

1000%

This is what I’m saying. Kauffman is VERY friendly to hitters like India. Park factors had it #3 for doubles and #2 for triples last year. Could actually be an upgrade for him.
November 23, 2024 at 4:45 PM
He might be a very handsomely paid long reliever…
November 23, 2024 at 1:36 AM
Kaufman is great for doubles and triples…which is more suited to India anyway. This could actually be an upgrade

I think it’s Hendricks’ job to lose, but Slaten could be a really good closer
November 22, 2024 at 2:24 AM
Gil wouldn’t have received a single vote if he was in the NL…Skenes, Merrill, Chourio and Imanaga all ahead of anybody in the AL.
