A great conclusion to the trilogy. Not everything was handled in the way I was hoping it would be - some of the relationship drama fell a little flat - but I enjoyed it, all-in-all.
If I were to rank the three:
1) Golden Son
2) Morning Star
3) Red Rising

This is the best sequel I've ever read.
It took everything from the first book, the characters, premise, world and political intrigue, and expanded on it in such a compelling way. Darrow's personal struggles feel so raw, so real that I felt myself unable to put the book down.

I feel like this one was poorly pitched to me, but I enjoyed sci Fi Lord of the Flies nonetheless. Mustang best btw. I have the next two books in the series as well, so I guess onto the next one!

This one really surprised me. I thought I was spoiled on a couple things, but I realized how inconsequential they were in context. This story has so many twists and turns that I don't think I'd believe any real spoilers for this first book. Can't wait for the second one.

I completely forgot to post about this, but I watched it earlier this year. A very respectful follow-up to the original Karate Kid that honours the characters and movies that spawned it. I don't know what I expected, but it exceeded my expectations.

I totally get the Star Wars comparisons, but I really did like the world and magic that Paolini set up here. Also, Eragon and Sapphira's relationship throughout the book was great
