From time to time packages go missing.This is not news. In the case of Amazon a polite request to their helpline will get the package resent. However, today three packages finally appeared out from under the heavy snow at the foot of my driveway where they've probably been for a month or two.

The Turks and Caicos glow-worm evening boat tour turned into a real booze cruise with unlimited drinks. Carole and I stopped after one each. One passenger got so drunk that she fell overboard while we were looking for glow-worms that she had to be fished out.

Glow-worm (Odontosyllis enopla) females releasing clouds of eggs into the water -- the glow is to tell the males to come and start fertilizing. A special Turks and Caicos feature that only happens three to five days after the new moon.

Important safety tip: do not let your computer monitors fall over onto your honey clementine Yankee Candle. It takes a *really* long time working with an iron and pieces of newspaper and cloth to get all of the flung streams and droplets of wax out of the carpet.
