Thank you Tom. I, too, had a soulmate cat. Found him nearly dead in a gutter by my place at about 4 weeks old. Bottle-raised him. It wrecked me when he passed at only 8 years. Sobbing, chain smoking grief. Your tribute to Carla was deeply touching and brought Hercules back to me for an instant.
