Not sure if you picked up on this yet but. Rhode Island's interscholastic league just abruptly changed their trans student policy that had been in place since 2013, To a statement that it's up to each principle to follow state and federal law. It's not a ban but it is already creating confusion.

Many states have laws that protect both. RI did it last year

Yup and this started as soon as they lost the fight against gay marriage. They needed a new target and way to raise money.
