The Accord I bought brand new in 2016 after I left journalism hit 90K miles on my way to the Y tonight, and I’m peeved that I didn’t notice it as it was happening.

The SHS Jazz I band entertained IDNR employees and visitors with holiday favorites today. These students rehearse in jazz class everyday and are excellent musicians. Very proud of them all, especially my son on bass.

Popcorn machine burned a batch, setting off the fire alarms at Sangamon Auditorium, so I guess we all have to wait outside until the fire department comes. Awesome.
