I've been watching what I've been eating the past couple months and I have lost 11 lbs so far! Which means I've reached the first goal of getting back under 200lbs 🎉

I'm starting a new healthy eating journey and this morning I had a sweet potato with greek yogurt and mango salsa. Its funny because I can have the yogurt with sweet potatoes, but a regular potato I still need to use sour cream

I went back on hinge after a couple months of having it paused...yeah still not worth it. I think I scrolled for 2 minutes before turning it back off.

It's kind of funny that the one person who rarely sees my hair how I like it styled is my hair dresser. When I go in I have it pulled back because I've brushed out any tangles, and I never blow dry my hair when I'm at home.

I know we are trying to save the planet and all that, but I miss being able to reuse my plastic grocery store bags as trash bags for when I cook meat or just have something I don't want to throw in my big trash.

Last night I slept in my now empty second bedroom because it gets pitch black while mine always has the street lights coming through. I woke up middle of the night panicking that I couldn't see because I forgot I switched rooms and didn't know why I couldn't see anything 😅🙃

I got called in for Jury Duty again because the one from November was canceled. I hope I have to show up because this is annoying and I want to get it over with for the next 3 years

Does anyone else rewatch a show and are shocked about how quickly characters process stuff - only to remember you've actually watched 3 years worth of weekly content within a 2 week time span so during air time the progress/time was actually normal?

Going to start eating more tofu because it's cheap and I've learned a way of getting more of the liquid out before cooking.

Went to Dollar Tree today and was looking at those little drink flavor packets you add to water- they had an A&W root beer one. Wouldn't that just taste like flat soda because it's not carbonated. I don't think my mind could get around a drink that tastes like root beer but did have bubbles

One of my friends gave me one of those AirFly Pro devices for when I travel ages ago and it just dawned on me the other day that I could use it in my car instead of having to connect my phone to a wire

Update: I still don't think I'm meant for online dating
I've made the leap and have downloaded Hinge. I haven't tried online dating in 7 or 8 years now, so fingers crossed this time it actually goes well.

I've had almost no Christmas spirit this season. I didn't decorate, and my little Christmas tree that I just keep in the corner of my apartment (because of lack of storage space) hasn't even been turned on once. I feel like so many people lately are feeling the same way

If the TikTok ban ends up going through; I don't think I'll go to whatever new social media site is put out to replace it. I joined in 2020 when I had more free time to post regularly and be more active in general. Hopefully people I followed will be active on IG, otherwise best of luck
