Depends on the journalism, tabloids that write a piece about every episode of on-going reality shows probably cannibalize them a bit, for example
But yeah, I'd agree journalism usually doesn't compete with the original works as much as other industries that are built on fair use

I feel like kids that are growing up in a world with LLMs will be so good at spotting LLMs that this won't be an issue for them at all
