I took this Princess Mononoke blind box fridge magnet and used it to recreate a scene from the film! I hand-painted the background onto a wooden coaster and hot glued a magnet onto it so that the head would attach. All it took was a little patience and human creativity 🦌🌿✨ #princessmononoke #fanart

After putting on a clear glaze finish and letting it dry, I placed the magnet on his new home base! I’ll find an official place to display it later, but I’m really happy with how it all turned out! 🦌🌿✨

I’ve painted over wooden coasters over the years as gifts for friends and family, but never made one for myself before.

So I bought a pack of small magnets, hot glued one to an abandoned project, and using a screenshot reference and acrylic paint, started to get to work.

Sharing a little personal project I’ve been working on this week!

I bought a Princess Mononoke blind box that’s just fridge magnets of the heads of the forest spirits (also Yakul and San’s mask), but I wanted to make it seem like more than just a mounted head on a wall lol 🧵

Went to the #Arcane pop-up at Boba Bear in LA last night! The drinks were tasty, the atmosphere was so fun, and the decor felt like it was straight out of Zaun. Definitely something to check out if you’re in the area! ✨
