To me, that’s all direly obvious. But to others, it’s sabotage and fascism-enabling. Which I can’t understand.

My issue with that is, some people lump any criticism of the Dems — no matter how reality-based or justified — into the same category as the narcissistic, nihilistic “both sides are the same” slop.
I have great contempt for the Dems. But I have even more contempt for those who sabotage them.

Who are some examples of this? I don’t THINK I follow anyone like that, but one hard lesson the past decade has taught me is that perceptions of empirical reality can be as divergent among the left as they are between the left and the right. 😔

Grim has been putting out critically important journalism regarding the Gaza crisis. I’m largely unfamiliar with him beyond those parameters. Why is he being characterized as a stealth right-winger?

I’m unclear. Is what you’re objecting to the idea — which Grim and Stoller appear to at least somewhat be entertaining — that what we’re witnessing here represents anything more politically meaningful than Trump‘s infantile, simpleminded imbecility and cartoonishly submissive beta personality?

The responsibility for the behavior of that ilk never lay with Sanders. None of that selfish nihilism has ever come from him or from those who supported the platform in earnest. A small but very loud portion of those who latched onto his campaigns are performative frauds who care about nothing.

I’m wondering where I could read up about his naive overwrought enthusiasm from the TT era. I’ve seen very little about his work on those series, and I only recently learned how he was so much more intimately involved with Animaniacs than I’d ever guessed he was.

I hate “George Lucasing” on principle, but I’ve caved a few times and tweaked dialogue to reflect later changes — mostly character names. And I later rewrote one punchline because the original was too date-specific.
Now there’s one strip I’m considering rewriting completely, for multiple reasons. 😑
