Love this. Next we need MOUs between IL, MI, WI and Canada re sustainably managing Lake Michigan. The feds have pulled back so the states need to step in and continue the cooperative management of the Great Lakes watershed with Canada.

I worked for Lutheran Social Services decades ago when I was in social services. If filling gaps in caring for others is domestic terrorism then we are really in trouble. Why pick on social service providers whose tiny budget is dwarfed by the cost of tax cuts to billionaires?

Yep, I’m living that stat with missed promotion opps because of this second unpaid job, while my physician brother seems to be able to work extra shifts, rarely visits, and even then does nothing to lighten my load. Good thing I have female managers who understand the situation!

So we were told on the campaign trail that a “black job” is any job held by a person of color. Now it seems any job held by anyone other than a white male is a “DEI” job and the person is presumptively unqualified to perform their job. This false narrative is vile.

Let’s see whether foreign countries will allow a convicted felon entry, can’t own a gun, and can’t be charged with another crime. Plus the indelible smudge which will haunt him the rest of his life. It was always doubtful he’d get actual prison time as much as many of us longed for that ending.
