The bottom two done to the dulcet sounds of birds chirping and kids screaming so they could hear their echoes.

Though they had some very kind things to say about my paintings on the way back to their car!

I'm not sure if I've ever done #urbansketching with this combination of mediums before. #art

I might like the idea of urban sketching more than the practice. What would this be called, #naturesketching ?
I tried to just be relaxed with this one and not get caught up in technical stuff. I want to enjoy art again!

I saw people's #urbansketching and was intrigued enough to try my hand. I started small with half a page to try to keep it low pressure. #art

One of the wasps that pollinates my tomatoes. Probably about time to start leaving wasp offerings when eating outside. Interesting article: theconversation.com/what-to-do-w...

Ink and watercolor that I did at the same time as the 'failed' one that I used in the previous collage. Cat skull if I remember right.

A couple pages from my 'junk art journal' where I used old failed pieces as the base for collages to try to get myself into creating just for the heck of it again.

This one is from a pattern my library found on YouTube. I made out last year but I can hunt it down if some one is interested.

An owl I whittled from an avacado pit using a tutorial in a book from my library. I can't remember the title rn. The coloring is mostly just from oxidation but I did even out a few spots with gouache

One of my first forays into using tofu. I dont like meat and have a hard time eating enough protein. It was pretty good and I've eaten similar since. Featuring more farmers market finds ✨

Berries from the farmers market with sour cream. The first time I heard about the combination of sounded pretty odd. But I really like it now. Sadly I think we're at the end of the berry season.

First time darning socks. These are my favorite winter socks than I was gifted for Christmas years ago.
It worked out pretty well but now I need to darn a little closer to the toes again.
