Rock music fan, festival goer, old but not giving up yet. Here in case it's the one that takes off when Musk has killed twitter. Covid avoider. Fascinated but also a bit baffled by conspiracy theorists and unintelligent people.

@bluenationmusic.bsky.social (I keep forgetting you're not on twitter any more!). Have just insisted to a chap called Kev here at CRF that he mustn't miss you. Feel free to give him a shout out on Sunday (I don't know him, just ... every little helps 😄)

@reecedinsdale.bsky.social beginning to wish I hadn't replied to your tweet about Lineker! I'm obviously a person with little brain for not knowing something I didn't know 🙄
I'd rather people put more effort into opposing people killing each other than trying to ridicule on social media...

@popy-1.bsky.social Boots, pocket, coffin going round my head, even now, well over an hour since I heard it!

Blimey. Only bought one to play a radio station on a Friday evening which is no longer on the airwaves anyway, so they'll not have much joy with just my 3 word command on repeat (switched off rest of the time), but this seems a bit naughty.
Are we okay with this?

Hope #CovidDayofReflection today doesn't get leapt on by the idiots. Thx to @covidmemorialwall.bsky.social for their hard work & empathy, thx to the key workers who worked throughout.
Too many lost, too many still badly affected.
Also, don't take the pi$$ out of those of us still avoiding it.

Yeah, of course I'm interested in someone who looks like she's stuffed a huge balloon up her tshirt #blocked

@sophie-james.bsky.social heyup chuck, long time no see. I only visit fb about once a week, and on my latest visit I happened to see your post about coming here, so, welcome 👋. I think it'll take some time to build up, but it's so much less unpleasant than the others.

1. Please read this thread. It could make a difference to your health.
Before I went away, I had a strange, persistent tingling in the soles of my feet. When I looked it up, there were some benign explanations, and some alarming ones. I resolved to see the doctor when I returned. 🧵

So, who else was hoping for a Richard Hilman-style comeback by @reecedinsdale.bsky.social while she was dreaming? #Corrie

I decided to come out of the dark ages and use whatsapp, but only want to use it for family and small number of friends. Last time I downloaded it I got to 'allow access to all contacts', said sod it and deleted it. Do I really have to go in and block every number I don't want? I can't ...

@regaresearch.bsky.social hi, there's another one! Have reported again. Extra r in a different place.

@regaresearch.bsky.social You have an impersonator. I've reported. Might be a good idea to post that you're the real one and beware of scammers with regard to the recent competition.

Just had a 'Sod it, buy the ticket even if you don't know anyone else going' moment. Missed out on Nektar last year, went the year before (cos Empyre were playing).
Looking a good lineup (and great selection of beers)

Very useful thread for newbies.
Thread for those new to BlueSky. First of all, welcome. It feels like a safer space, doesn’t it? But also perhaps a bit disorienting initially? Here’s some tips for getting your bearings.
