Every time the man does something horrendous, I think that this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. But it's one damned thing after another. I can barely keep up with the continuous rips to the fabric of our democracy.

We're already inundated with the Orange Menace's idiotic EOs. Trying not to go down every rabbit hole. Instead, trying to focus my attention on what I can do while giving myself permission to rest & reset.

We the People have to reassert that the government works for us, not for the 1% who hold most of the wealth in this country. We are not vassals to a king, but equal citizens of a democracy. It's time we put on our big person pants & acted like it.

I've deleted my Instagram, Threads & X/Twitter accounts. I maintain Facebook solely to communicate with friends & family around the world. But, I will log out during this period to protest Meta's new moderation fact-checking policy. I hope you'll do the same.

How the hell have we misused Social Security? I paid into the system for nearly 50 years. I was told it was an investment for my future. I've now called in on that promise & that's misusing it? This is rich coming from someone w a gov pension, full insurance etc.

Musk needs to STFU. He's making it so easy to hate CEO's & others in the 1%. By blatantly stating that insurance companies are not there for the customer's benefit but only for the stockholders', he's further dividing the US into a classist/feudal society.
