Unfortunately if the buyer refuses to pay the tarriff, the seller gets lumbered with it. I suspect that's happened one too many times so they have simply chosen not to sell there.
Similar has happened to us in the UK with some European countries, notably Germany often refuses to ship here now.

would a flight be cheaper? I recall we went to see some family in southern Ireland some years ago, and we were amazed that a flight from Liverpool Airport was cheaper than the ferry!

Super easy especially compared to some of the systems that came before it. I hated revision control systems until Git came along.

Very likely... if your laptop pack has an IEC inlet or a mains plug with a metal earth pin, check for continuity between the earth and the 0V side. if you have continuity there, it should be fine.

They are good - the only thing to be aware of is that if you run them from mains power using a typical USB-PD adapter, the tip is not grounded...and can have up to half mains voltage on it due to how the power supply works... so you can risk zapping ESD sensitive parts
