Forecasts cancel more outdoor events than weather. Wednesday the forecast for our backpacking trip in Uwharrie was looking like cold rain/snow all day Saturday and Sunday.

We decided to go anyway & were rewarded w/ good temps and blue skies. Just a quick rain shower Sun morning.
