Nerd achievement unlocked: finished The Silmarillion.
It had dragons and swords with cool names. 12/10
Been reading The Silmarillion, and while it is more dense than The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, it isn’t nearly as impenetrable or esoteric as I thought it would be. Taken as a collection of something akin to folk tales it’s actually quite entertaining, and even has some heart.
