As well as boxing in pipes and meters I have also replaced rotten planter boxing at the front (we must have built the original one about 18 years ago. The decking boards had seen much better days. Please to have got this finished in a day.

After the disappointment of a pile of soggy dough insted of a tasty pizza last night we learnt new tricks this morning, diagnosing and changing the oven element. You have to love the internet for new skills. Two hours and £19 saved us a few quid on a call out.

A few years ago I was the years number one buyer of spaghetti hoops in my Sainsburys, only made number 4 for ketchup for 2024. That just sums up my year. Although I look quite healthy on the fruit and veg front. @sainsburys.bsky.social

A week after watching the last episode of Gavin and Stacy (twice) on Christmas Day, and once since, and we are still discussing how clever and perfect the writing of Jones& Corden is. They have created characters and phrases that have been adopted into our culture and language. Just lush.
