Been spending a lot of time with AI lately and it's been a disaster to put it mildly.

Frankly just went back to writing code and syntaxes by hand. I sometimes use it to fix small issues here or there but for my small scale stuff I rather be in control.

The filter can be activated through a dropdown in the Images tab, search settings, or by using a dedicated AI-free domain: noai.duckduckgo.com. The system relies on curated blocklists, including uBlockOrigin’s Huge AI Blocklist, to detect and suppress AI-generated imagery. While not perfect, it significantly reduces synthetic content visibility. I am glad RSS is alive and well into this era.

I still self host my newsfeeds via Newsblur and got dozens of feeds of interest from people that still offer them.

since i was writing for a general audience i only tucked in a short paragraph about using RSS as a journalist or researcher, but i genuinely have no idea how anyone functions without it.
Power users can even subscribe to search results from search engines or other websites, making RSS a powerful tool for research. Have you ever wondered how I keep up with cryptocurrency news? Besides the crypto publications in my RSS reader, I have feeds for Google searches like (cryptocurrency OR NFT) (theft OR hack OR scam) and CourtListener searches on crypto-related keywords for newly filed cases. CourtListener provides a feed for every docket, so I have a folder in my RSS reader for ongoing court cases I’m tracking.
