I really enjoy Alyssa Cole and Courtney Milan. They both wrote modern and Milan has some rad historicals too.

Kristen Painter has two series that are kind of similar. One is more paranormal urban about a mob wife in her 40’s who becomes a vampire and then another one about an older woman who becomes a fairy queen but they’re more cozy than romantasy. Fun reads though.

Believe it or not The Last Vampire was still YA. If you liked it I recommend checking out his other books too. Most of them are geared similarly :)

Folks who still think it’ll only be four years are adorable in their optimism.
