It’s quite interesting. It highlights just how awful reality tv and dieting culture is now - quite shocking really

I’m so glad he’s got such great advisors in his inner circle; he could really be embarrassing himself constantly otherwise!

AIDS had horrific impacts on our world across the board, but the loss of so many activists that could be intersectional and bring these movements together was a biggie. These kind of collaborations feel incomprehensible nowadays.

I’m sat here in England so excuse me if I’m wrong or I just haven’t got the joke, but aren’t you guys unable to afford eggs and isn’t your president a massive rapist? So maybe not so unique to one city?

I’ve a local biomass energy plant and it’s really sad driving by and seeing all the trees stacked up wondering how many years old they were. Awful business, especially as you have to drive passed a broken on shore wind turbine to get there.

I will never understand why America, which was built on a foundation of dreams being made possible by equality and hard work, now fight so hard to create and reinforce an all American aristocracy! Just put an age limit on your lawmakers and get them to retire.

Wowzer, is that how our House of Lords is viewed by you guys? Brutal. But you know they get £300 a day just for turning up and sitting in the subsidised restaurants; I wish my kids childcare was that generous!

I’m here in England so I know nothing about the Love Boat but I do know Coronation Street has a lovely wedding that included a trans character. Voted the best soap wedding before all the anti trans stuff kicked in

Coronation Street's Hayley finally marries her Roy - with oil-splattered bridesmaid Becky by her side

Women and men’s team played over 36 hrs of rugby to get the world record and raise money for charity. Who’s the beautiful girl in the pic? Why that would be one of my daughters!

Snaps! Glad I’m not the only one. In my defence, there’s a world record attempt for the longest game going on at the mo. and I thought the greens had got involved!

Labour need to remember that people held their noses when voting for them to ensure the Tories were voted out. Thinking they actually won, through one guys competence just means they are going to run with an extinction strategy. If it weren’t so damaging to people it would be fascinating.

Less fascinating and more illegal?

@charityhalluk.bsky.social Umming, ahhing and errring!

He’s fucking not - there an are vengeful people out there; who cross boundaries that are unthinkable.
May 14, 2025 at 10:32 PM
I’m very interested in your thinking about the Lib Dems, independent MPs and vulnerable Labour MPs. Thoughts?

Not fully but Cooper has announced a cessation in the number of social care visas and Tice has spouted forth that those who decide not to work shall from here on out be compelled through threat of poverty to be work in the care sector; so Starmer will be aping shortly. God help our elderly parents.
May 13, 2025 at 1:02 AM
And now they are going to force those on benefits to carry out social care, or they’ll lose their benefits - wow; that’s quite the most awful policy ever.
May 13, 2025 at 12:43 AM
I always go English because I value the Scottish, Welsh, Cornish, Irish, Manx, etc. and who knows
May 13, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a feeshole that’s been more disparaged - you have certainly hit a chord; and created a sympathetic opposition! The English don’t fuck with bin collections.
May 11, 2025 at 11:26 PM
Just wait until they want free quality driven social care. You spent your deposit on Netflix and avocados; they spent their social care on 4 cruises a year. And then championed the loss of visas for qualified social care workers. Hey ho.
May 11, 2025 at 11:20 PM
It will be interesting; given these policies, the election results and the impeding genocide of Gaza how long they can continue believing they have a mandate. The Tories were voted out, Labour were supported for their call for change - and this is all beyond awful.
May 7, 2025 at 10:11 PM
That is the wildest take on politics I’ve read ever. Do they really think anyone will support them?
May 7, 2025 at 10:04 PM
And they are literally telling you they will cut benefits to get a second term.
