What has the experience of using Rust been like for building a desktop environment? Any techniques or approaches that have been super instrumental in making it work?

Inverse relationship between implementation likelihood and use-case fit. Like the random bikeshare app I use once would be a much better candidate for an app clip than Yelp but only Yelp is going to bother to pay an engineer to set up app clips.

In order to clarify the function of the physical device, it should be renamed the Apple Roku.

not to yuck your exploration, but figured it was worth dropping the lore as mentioning hyprland offhand on say, a linux podcast, might bring an email flood 😆

Thank you!! I'll take a look through these. I've been working through your (excellent) book of shaders and it occurred to me it would be fun to be able to eventually put a project on the wall.

Beautiful. If you don't mind me asking, are there any tools you'd recommend for physical creative coding projects like this? Is this OpenFrameworks on a raspberry pi?

Like, as an allegory about coercion that functions within the bounds of social acceptability, its use of the comedy of social tension to poke at that is often funny and generative imo. And tonally, I feel the way the comedy defuses tension lends to the dissociative quality of the settings/characters

Do you feel that the comedy distracts from the allegory? Could see that, but
part of what hooks me about the show is how the *specific* form of "social tension" comedy utilized in the show is aligned with some of the subject matter (social coercion).

They are not adding lead to food. Pollution (e.g. leaded gasoline) has made it so the world's soil and water is full of elevated levels of lead. When you grow plants in that soil they absorb the lead (especially cocoa). They will only spend the extra money to reduce lead if required by regulation.

It's not only funny, it's contemporarily funny. General Buck Turgidson is basically tim robinson.
