The tail bow came from the tails i messed up in my experimenting in step 1. Feet and ears were cut from sheet felt and glued/needlefelted into place. Et voila! A nightmare creature for your friends.

Next were their mouths. I started the stitch at the back of their head and stitched through the surface of the muzzle to make the Y shapes. I used pins to line up the stitches and placement of the eye beads. The noses sizes are slightly different and i think its charming.

Next was making little snowmen with white felt. These started as wet felted balls i worked up into being mice sized and then needled them onto the frame. I pulled dark grey and organge felt and mixed them with the white to keep the colors harmonized across all the mice.

The frame: The white “snowflake” frame is a wire bent into a hexagon i drew to keep the sides even, then bend the faces inwards to be the hands. Wet felted white onto them
The tails were trial and error(#2)but just having the tails go straight across into each other was the best and simplest option.
