Near as I can tell, it's mostly the people who used to make Twitter toxic making a new pre-Elon Twitter, just as toxic, to replace Elon's new, but still toxic, Twitter. I think the toxicity of Twitter, and social media generally, is structural. Upsetting people is rewarded so that's what people do.

I think this is only partly caused by government action. So many of these doctors are now employees of giant hospital conglomerates and are subject to company policies. Those companies probably don't want the hassle or liability. Providers are as much of the problem as insurance companies.

Well, they chose Hitler back in the day. Man of the Year isn't an award or seal of approval. It is, and always has been, a discussion about the magnitude of a person's impact during the year. Catastrophic as the 2024 election was, Trump made a huge impact.

Wouldn't they need to file flight plans that we could see? I have an app that shows realtime paths of the flights in my area with the planes' tail numbers, heading, altitude, etc.
I don't buy any of the "mothership" hysteria but I'm hesitant to accept this (FAR less unhinged) explanation either.
