Dune (DOS/amigaOS, 1992)
A sandy desert landscape, the only landmark in sight is a building towering over the landscape. There's a beautiful sunset in the back, daylight just barely visible towards the bottom of it. On the menu at the bottom of the image, there are movement options and three selectable text options 1) See Dune Map. 2) Call a Worm. 3) Wait for Morning.

A cute hand-drawn Halloween themed fairground set in a clearing in a haunted woods. There are a mixture of real and fake creatures along with humans at the gathering. A large area is taken up by a partially walled in hut with a large octopus on top, same height as the dead tree next to him.

Piracy on the High Seas (amigaOS, 1992)
A large majority of the screen is a blue ocean, in the center is a ship, to the left of the ship are three rocky islands. At the bottom of the screen from left-to-right is a Health Bar, an option to pay the pirates shaking you down (symbolized by a coin) or fight them (symbolized by crossing sword) they want 450 gold, you only have 133. Frowny Face.
