There's so much more than I can say. But that would honestly take forever to go over and type. I'm happy to discuss last night's speech with anyone that's willing. So long as the conversations remain civil!

At the end of the speech I honestly felt a mix of terrifying uncertainty, but slight hope for prosperity. I want our country be the international superpower that I grew up loving, but I don't want us to sacrifice our dignity and honor to do that. And it feels like we are heading down that path.

He did say that he is willing to having #Zelensky back to discuss a ceasefire. Which I really hope does happen. But the only way a ceasefire can work is with additional protections from NATO and the US! We've seen time and time again #Putin is not a man of his word and does not honor ceasefire.

In terms of international diplomacy, I think this is where we look the absolute weakest. He doubled down on wanting to acquire Greenland, removed us from the UN human rights council and from the WHO and aligned us closer to #Russia while further alienating us from our #NATO allies.

How are these companies supposed to be able to manufacture in the US and still pay a fair livable wage to the citizens that work for them? Plus regardless if we manufacture here, many companies would likely still have to get parts from out of the country, leading to MORE tariffs!

His #tariff plan is going to cripple our economy especially with all these retaliatory tariffs from other countries. I get what he's trying to do, bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. But there's so much uncertainty that he is riding on that it's almost certain to fail.
