This must be Europe’s path. Trade is our greatest strength, and unlike other forms of influence in the world, it is how we make ourselves stronger, both within and beyond our borders.

The EU-India agreement connects more than two billion people, the largest trade deal ever envisioned. Yet what truly makes it great is not only its scale, but its future and potential.

Strong commitment and unity today are the only guarantee of peace and respect tomorrow.

Europe must not allow itself to become an international embarrassment.
Today it is Greenland.Tomorrow, it will be Ceuta and Melilla under the pretext of “Mediterranean national security,” the Azores for Atlantic control, and then French territories in the Pacific for “whatever comes to his mind”.

What happens when the threats come from the east? We should already know that dialogue with Trump is futile. He applies maximum pressure and then demands territorial concessions, compelling others to submit, and more often than not, he prevails.

Yet for now, it is all just rumours. At the very least, it appears that the EU loan to Ukraine will include conditions linked to the origin of the weapons, no more American arms financed with european money. That, at least, is a step forward. There is no other path forward but decisive action.

Europe will not fail again. This is our last chance to prove who we are, what we believe in, and what we are willing to defend at any cost.

All european leaders, together, with their defence ministers and military chiefs must travel to Greenland, stand with its people and promise them that they will not be abandoned. A strong and clear message must be sent, worldwide.
