really love this dimensions of asian spirituality series, more good stuff; wasn't sure about the tokyo one when I picked it up because it's kinda out of my wheelhouse, but the intro sold me

Definitely aimed more at educators, but does a lot of work simplifying the many competing fields in SLA and turning them into some actionable teaching practice. May also be useful for some self-directed learners
