In September I started re-writing a novel I began in 2010. This version’s first draft is 100% handwritten. Recently I finished the first notebook which is just the first 8 chapters. To celebrate I made a collage cover of what those first 8 chapters represent.

It was a drip coffee kind of day.

In the midst of winter, my plants have all gone dormant. My orchid on the other hand is popping off.

Fostering two cats and a friend got a candid photo of one of them cuddling with me last night.

9th year in a row crushed the turkey once again.

If you know me, you know giraffes are my nemesis.

So proud of this writing journey I’ve been on the last few weeks. As much as I want to talk about how epic this story is. I have to finish this draft first. Time to dive in.
