The tuxedoed asshole on the left escaped from the screen porch this past Monday afternoon, had a loud fight with something unidentified in the outer darkness late Monday night, and has been AWOL since. She just came back to the porch a few minutes ago, calling for food and a bunk.

Houston's Glassell School of Art, Community Artists’ Collective, and Jubilee Quilt Circle collaborated on a quilting exhibition featuring historical patterns that were used by enslaved people in the South to plan their escape and guide them on their pathways to Canada UNDERGROUND RAILROAD QUILT CODE POEM Tumbling Blocks was the signal to get ready for our journey. We escaped the South with the help of the Underground Railroad. The Monkey Wrench told us to collect the materials we needed for the journey, and we stowed away at the sign of the Wagon Wheel. We followed the Bear's Paw Trail through the woods and mountains and journeyed to the Crossroads where others made plans for our safe passage. The Log Cabin gave us a place to rest, while the Shoofly helped us to dress and blend in with clothes provided by the sign of the Bow Tie. Our journey North continued following the Flying Geese, while the Drunkard's Path reminded us to zigzag our route to safety. The Sailboat told us to cross the river and enter Canada, where the North Star shone with our freedom.

The same bunny bolted away as I was mowing the verge two days ago. This one is sharing the fence line environment with some black-tailed jackrabbits.
