if any republican wants to cry about it just point to the long list of people that Trump corruptly pardoned in his last days in power. Of course they will somehow argue that the Hunter pardon is worse but we know that Trumps pardons are obviously orders of magnitude more corrupt than hunters pardon

if anything presidents should be held to a higher standard, not a lower one. If you commit crimes then you should be held to account for those crimes.
