So I agree with you on this in the sense that I’m never sure if they are welcomed or just seen as annoying. I actually spent time asking people if I should send one. My personal inclination is to send one to be polite but I also don’t want to be bothering clearly busy people.

Over the last 10 years I have come to genuinely believe the view that Trump is a symptom and not a cause; he just reflects something that was already rotten at the heart of a lot of people. There is just so little empathy or caring, even when the bad impacts people you know.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in me (even in the times where I might not have believed in myself). Cannot wait for the Fall semester to start!

I agree; someone said it had “top of the ticket vibe” and I thought it was spot on. I hope I get to vote for him for president someday.

I also think this relates to the idea that at least some heavy quant people subscribe to which is that if it can’t be measured it’s probably not that important. But Walz has some intangibles that make him a great choice. (I also thought Shapiro was a great choice but for different reasons).
