Lion actually has a proper 24hr wall clock he got off Ebay.
It can be a bit disconcerting to read if you are not used to it as midnight is at the top and noon is at the bottom where the 6 is on a normal clock. There is a minute ring on the inside as the minute hand moves normally.

Lion has one of these lever guillotines in his workshop.
Cuts steel up to 1.2mm thick , copper ,brass and just about everything else including cardboard. Bit of a challenge to use accurately but gets the job done. :)

10Ghz TWT amp arrived today. Need to organise a transformer for it then a test signal source and load .
That ring around the RF out socket is an interlock. Need to connect an output load before the amp will operate. 5 mW of input gives the full 10 watt output. 10W on that frequency is pretty mean.

Turn your phone OFF or keep it in 'airplane' mode when you don't need it. Cant stingray a phone with no signal.

Temp controlled electric lab oven. Its an old Wilson 1.5Kw modified with an Omron temp controller.

First of the 10GHz horn antenae completed.
Was a bit of a battle putting it together. The high temp silver solder that lion originally wanted to use wouldn't melt properly with the MAPP gas torch and he had to switch to low temp lead free silver bearing solder which worked out a lot better.

got on the guillotine and cut all the copper parts for the two horn antennae and some strips for the other projects like the HF antenna tuner. Lunch time then maybe jig up the horns and solder them together.
