The Universities Australia recommendation is not just merely unworkable or untenable, it is unconscionable. It should be set aside for the Jerusalem Declaration

This should not be standard that the QUT Governing Council accepts – because under the IHRA / Universities Australia definition it would be wrong to criticise Israel for war crimes, even if the IDF dropped a bomb on a QUT building. This is incredibly unreasonable

In my letter to the Registrar, I wrote that I have no allusions about how the State of Israel would have treated Queensland University of Technology if this institution was located in Palestine, given that the IDF destroyed the last remaining university in 2024
